CarlingFesty.com is a website dedicated to both the Carling Festivals, Leeds Festival and Reading Festival. Here all the latest
news and
updates will be posted about
Leeds Festival 2008 and
Reading Festival 2008. We first launched in 2005 where we kept everyone updated about Carling Festival 2006 and then 2007, this year we hope to improve the site a lot! We will be keeping you up to date with
news, rumours, tips, tricks and news about the Leeds and Reading festival
lineups as soon as we hear it!
Well Leeds and Reading are over and I think everyone can agree they were both fantastic festivals. Now it’s time to start thinking about 2008!
You can buy a limited supply of 2008 tickets here: http://www.seetickets.com/seelr/. They cost the same price as last years so buying now will save you £10-£20 and also mean you don’t have to partake in the scrum for tickets in 2008.

Seetickets appear to have started posting tickets for Leeds and Reading festival, I have received my Early Entry Passes this morning.
Don’t panic if you haven’t got your tickets yet, many still haven’t, it’s when we’re a few days from the festivals that you should start to worry.

Mean Fiddler have announced today that Reading Festival will definitely take place even though the venue has been flooded in recent storms. Part of the areas used for camping flooded after prolonged rain caused part of the River Thames, close to the site, to burst its banks. However, with the weather warming up and river levels receding, organisers insist everything looks good for the event.
Good news for anyone worried about the flooding, as for Leeds Festival the venue hasn’t been flooded so there is no doubt as to whether it will take place.

Mean Fiddler are currently supporting a lift share scheme for getting lifts to Leeds and Reading this year. The idea is that if someone is driving to either festival they can announce it on the internet and offer a space in their car for a small fee or sometimes for free.
You can find more information about it at the following links
