NME have confirmed that Leeds has a 3AM License meaning that there will be entertainment every night (presumabely even on the Sunday) until 3AM. This will include a series of sound systems in the camping areas, BMX Displays and possible a floodlit football pitch.

There will be a new Battery Exchange / Bar / DJ Stage at Leeds this year, called the “Duracell Powerhouse”. This will be the last venue to close at Leeds (although Mean Fiddler aren’t saying when) and will be host to the following acts: Evil Nine, Krafty Kruts, DJ Lazer, Greg Wilson and Adrian & Hugo.

The bar will be in the village area.

Mean Fiddler have announced changes to the Reading Campsite! .. no word on Leeds, though. Which is odd, as they should be focusing on Leeds campsites in attempts to stop rioting etc.

Anyway, the gist of the Reading changes is: Campfires, Late night entertainment to 3am, Silent diso, 23 hour All Day Breakfasts, Gas Cannister Competition and if you’re caught with a gas cannister on a fire you will be kicked out. You can read more about it here: Reading Changes
