Apparnelty feeder has leaked the following bands as being headliners:
Feeder also said that they would be playing. Not to insult Franz Ferdinand and Kaiser Chiefs but the only band there that stands out as a headliner is Audioslave. I predict that (assuming Feeder are telling the truth) that is the line up for a particular day.
Also added to the rumour list are Maximo Park, The Rakes and Placebo.

There is a very strong rumour circulating that Primal Scream will be playing at Leeds this year.
Only a week and five days until we find out if it’s true!

Another one for the Rumour list are Placebo, the guys over at Virtual Festivals reckon that there is a strong chance Placebo will be playing at the festival this year. It doesn’t seem to unlikely what with a new album out, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
Talking of waiting, there’s only a few weeks until April 3rd when the initial line up announcement will be made!

Reading reports from people who visited the “NME Forum” where they discussed the Leeds and Reading Festivals and what improvements could be made with Mean Fiddler here is what you can expect to see.
I should point out that this is collected from various sources, it could be false, rumours or (more likely) some points could only apply to Leeds or some points only to Reading. This is all a rumour! Remember that!
The Reading crowd may not have had this but I know the Leeds goers will have. Stuart Security did not do their jobs well, heavy handedness is to be expected but I know I watched huge groups of them baiting the rioters, charging at them and running away.
The Radio One tent is still going to be a tent but there will be screens placed outside!
Those that missed bands because the queue was too long on the Friday morning should be pleased to hear that Mean
Fiddler plan to make absolutely sure that the gates are openeed in time
Yes! No more queueing for ridiculous amounts of time to get some money out, there will be more cash machines this
year!
Rumour has it that there will be more tents like the “Aftershock Tent” all open until 3A.M.
I don’t know what this means! But people are saying that the guy at the meeting was very excited about one
of the headliners.. only one? :/
Rumour has it camp fires at Leeds will be permitted, they may be different from what you expect though..
Not sure what people will make of this, but apparently there will be CCTV at the festival this year. Presumabely
this will just mean that security can respond quickly to violence and not other things..
Not much more to say about this
Apparently! Quite a novel way to stop them getting blown up, I suppose.
I think that’s a lot less than what we all expected. Good stuff!
What!

I’m 99% sure Radio 1 have never been at Leeds before, but rumour has it that they’ll be doing a show live from the festival.
Don’t ask me where I got this from but..
Radio 1 wanted to represent this part of the festival fully to its listeners and so across the weekend shows including Jo Whiley will be setting themselves up backstage with a ton of special guests and exclusive live performances from artists appearing at Leeds. The Radio 1 stage will be playing host to the bands that have mattered to Radio 1 listeners over the last year and the station will be recording live music for a Lamacq Live special on the Monday after the festival.
Good Stuff!
