Leeds Festival raised £10,000 for St. Martin’s Hospice!

It was kept pretty quiet by Mean Fiddler, but if you travelled to or from the Leeds site on one of the busses apparently you were donating money to St Martin’s Hospice.

Up to £10,000 has been raised for charity from bus services ferrying festival goers to and from this year’s Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival.

Organisers from Mean Fiddler and Geldards Coaches in Yorkshire took a percentage of cash from each ticket during the weekend which they will now donate to terminally ill children at the local St Martin’s Hospice.

Well isn’t that nice? You can read more about this at NME.com: http://www.nme.com/news/readingleeds-festival/21493
