Capacity increased to 70,000!

It’s official, the Leeds Festival capacity has been increased to 70,000.

This morning, the Licensing Panel of Leeds City Council have granted an increase in capacity to 70,000 including guests, for Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival and as a result of that, Leeds Festival organisers are to release an additional amount of weekend and day tickets. The vast majority of those tickets are already notionally spoken for, with the waiting list that was set up following the unprecedented sell out of tickets on April 3rd. The people on the waiting list will need to respond to an email being sent by Mean Fiddler, by 9am on Tuesday 2nd May, in order to take advantage of the reserved allocation. Any unclaimed reserved tickets will go on release at 9am on Tuesday morning, 2nd May.
